I write to get advise.

My current ride is 2006 Honda Activa – which has aged ok.
I am confused between SR150, Access 125 and Activa 125

1. 4 days/week I ride from HSR to Bagmane constellation business park- Opp Soul Space Arena on ORR. ~12 kms way (45-55 mins ride)
2. 1 days/week I ride from HSR to WTC, Yesvantpur- .~19 kms one way (~1.20 hours ride)
3. Weekends – within HSR.

Checked with a mechanic shop in HSR – where I go for my Activa – he says go only for Activa 125.

Which one you suggest?

bro have u made any mileage review of Vespa?

Varun Mulloli says:

This is an excellent review and I could relate to most of the points you’ve outlined here. My friend owns one and has done about 800kms now and I’ve ridden on it as a rider and as a pillion for a good amount of time.
The mileage obtained was around 38km/L before first service, but it dropped down to 33km/L after that. I guess that’s because my friend is somewhat of an aggressive rider and likes to open the throttle whenever she finds a bit of an open stretch.

I have taken it out for a highway ride of about 250kms in a single day and found it really comfortable and smooth. You won’t even know you are cruising along at 90kmph. But the story is totally different for the pillion though. Pillion seat tapers at the rear and you’ll start feeling the discomfort creeping in as you munch the miles. That’s when you realise that the pillion footrests are positioned at an awkward angle and that’s add to your misery. So the bottom line? Ride alone if you are touring with this scooter.

The trunk is small and you won’t be able to fit in a sports helmet or a motocross helmet. But my friend owns a Studds Chrome Elite Full Face helmet (Size – M) (https://www.flipkart.com/item/HLMDUS4GRU8QKPZC) and it fits perfectly in the trunk.

The exhaust note is a party piece and I absolutely love it! The handling and braking on this is exceptional. And it has got enough power that once she totally smoked an FZ at the Sarjapur signal on to the Outer Ring Road when the lights went green. 😀

Hi Im interested to buy this moto scooter Aprilia SR 150. Im In confused choose color which is best white or black? And please tell about Main Advantage and Disadvantage about this Scooter?

Syed Moinuddin says:

Your hitting almost 80 even though you didn’t complete 300km, I just completed my first service at 460km and now I have clocked 527 km, wont hitting around 80kmph before 300km or the first service damage the engine? My case: First 200km 40-60, next 300km playing between 50-70, after 800km I’ll take mine to 80-85.

Decent review but the road & traffic look really dangerous. Most of the road users these days seem brain-dead so should be careful while doing such live reviews…
